The west end contains many of Toronto’s best-known food, design and music streets, but they are not one compact attraction.
Queen West and West Queen West
Strong for galleries, fashion, music history and street life. Business turnover is high, so current maps beat old “best shop” lists.
Ossington and Dundas West
Dining and evening activity can be a main reason to visit. Reservations may matter at popular times.
Roncesvalles and the Junction
More residential and slower-paced, with independent businesses and access to parks or west-end routes.
How to choose
Select one corridor based on a specific interest. Do not spend the day commuting between every named west-end district.
