The best attraction list is not the longest one. Choose a small number of anchors that match the group, season and location.
Iconic city views
The CN Tower remains the clearest skyline experience. Harbour cruises and island viewpoints offer different perspectives. Weather and visibility matter for every elevated or water-based view.
Museums and galleries
ROM and AGO are major cultural anchors. Casa Loma, Hockey Hall of Fame and smaller institutions suit different interests. Check special-exhibition surcharges and closure days.
Family and indoor attractions
Ripley’s Aquarium is centrally located. Toronto Zoo and other outer attractions require more travel time. The former Ontario Science Centre at Don Mills should not be planned from old guidebooks; use current official information about science programming and locations.
Passes
Toronto CityPASS currently includes CN Tower and Ripley’s Aquarium plus a choice of additional attractions. It is useful only when the included list matches your real plan.
Selection method
- Pick one major anchor per half-day.
- Add nearby streets, parks or markets.
- Check reservation requirements before buying a pass.
- Keep an indoor/outdoor substitute.
- Avoid treating travel time as empty space.
