Two days allows visitors to see both the recognizable skyline city and the neighbourhood city, provided each day stays geographically compact.
Day one: lake and historic core
Use the waterfront–Union cluster in the morning, then St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District later. Choose only one large paid attraction in the first block unless your pace is fast.
Day two: museum and neighbourhood choice
Select ROM or AGO, then connect it with Yorkville/Annex or Kensington/Chinatown/Queen West. A food-focused visitor can spend less time inside and more time walking local streets.
Seasonal swaps
In summer, replace part of day one with the islands. In winter, strengthen the indoor route and keep travel simple. In spring and autumn, plan layers and a weather-flexible outdoor block.
Evening choices
Sports, theatre, live music and neighbourhood dining can work well, but major event start times should shape the entire day. Do not assume a stadium exit will be quick.
