Toronto Pearson International Airport
Pearson is the region’s main international airport. UP Express links the airport with Union Station in about 28 minutes under the standard schedule. Travellers staying outside downtown should compare UP Express with TTC, regional transit, taxi or rideshare routes.
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport
Billy Bishop is located on the Toronto Islands beside downtown. It can be convenient for eligible routes, but travellers should still account for the pedestrian tunnel or ferry, airport shuttle and final hotel transfer.
Rail and bus
Union Station is the main rail hub for VIA Rail, GO Transit and UP Express. Intercity bus terminals and stops vary by carrier, so verify the exact Toronto arrival point rather than assuming Union Station.
Driving
Highway congestion, downtown construction and parking costs can make driving slower than expected. A car is useful for some regional trips but often unnecessary for a central city stay.
